A private language lesson at the Orange County Lingual Institute is 80 minutes a week with one instructor, following a plan the two of you set rather than a syllabus written for a room of fifteen. We teach eighteen languages this way, at our Costa Mesa institute on Anton Boulevard, online, or at your own home or office.
Eight lessons cost $800, which is $100 a session, plus a one-time $50 registration fee for new students. Lessons are scheduled around you rather than around a term, so you are not waiting for the next eight-week cycle to start. Someone reads every inquiry, talks through your language, your level, your goals and the times you can meet, then matches you with an instructor and confirms the schedule with you. Nothing is booked or charged at this stage, so you are free to ask what you like first.
Lessons run at our institute at 600 Anton Boulevard, Suite B in Costa Mesa with parking on site, online, or at your own home or office. Tell us which you want when you get in touch.

They are different products rather than better or worse, and we will say so if a class suits you. Private lessons earn their price when the curriculum needs to fit one person: uneven knowledge, a goal with a date attached, or material a standard sequence would not reach.
Eight is the usual package, but it is a starting point rather than a fixed product. Students already in a group class can buy lessons one at a time, and we can talk about a different number of sessions or a different lesson length if that suits you better.
